Portal statuses and what to do

What Connected, Disconnected and Check connection mean, and the one action that resolves each notice.

The three statuses

Every portal shows one of these in the list and in its panel:

  • Connected: the portal is receiving your listings.
  • Disconnected: it is off and receives nothing.
  • Check connection: something needs your attention, and the panel says what.

What each notice means

When a portal needs attention, its panel states the reason:

  • Checking the connection: the portal has not answered yet, and the screen updates by itself.
  • The connection details are missing: they go in Connection details.
  • The portal refused the saved details: review them and save again.
  • The authorization expired: use Connect to authorize again.
  • The portal did not answer or is not accepting deliveries: it is tried again every hour.
  • The portal has not read the link yet: check that the portal has the link.

The counts and each listing

Listed counts what the portal holds, Featured those marked as featured, and Failed what it refused or could not be sent. Clicking a count opens those listings, each with its reason and what to do:

  • Needs changes: use Edit listing to fix what it says.
  • Failed: it shows the portal's message, and Retry sends it again.
